It has been somewhat of a phase in time. Somehow along the way I became quite unsure where to start. That was when I was packing up Storyteller's Jigsaw Puzzle that she lent me up that I figured now why dont I just post this up.

The puzzle took me about 4 - 5 hours to put together. yea I'm one of those absolute anal people who keeps on saying "just one more piece, i just need to get this piece in and then i'm done for today". Yea right. I was on a roll and the onlt time that i actually stopped was when Panda called to see if I wanted to go out. hmmmm i think i chose the jigsaw puzzle over panda. I cant remember what it was.

It was initially a 1000pieces jigsaw puzzle, that turned out to be missing of one border piece. Storyteller was quite amused by this piece of information (pun not intended) and she pretty much told me she has an extra piece of jigsaw that does not seem to fit anywhere. And no it did not fit in the mickey mouse puzzle. She's going to lend me the 101 Dalmations next coz its quite the challenge. Its double printed. Muahahahaha.

So here we are again. Yea yea i've been out of touch with the whole blogging thing. So much has happened for this year. What else can i say, its just one of those so much to do so little time, so many things to see, so many people to meet and have coffee with and other plenty stuff too.

So here goes for 2008...

January - Decided I'm better off single
February - My sister got married
March - Zorro died!
April - Hyperclicks happened
May - Bushido Martial Arts Dojo opened
June - Gave a few people a second chance
July - realized people never learn their lessons, therefore second chances revoked
August - Social Butterflying with the gang
September - Jigsaw Family Fun Day , Ejoh back home from UK for good
October - Sorting out life
November - Jen came back with Shayna, Final Exams for the kids
December - A pesky rodent in my house, need to call exterminator, Book Making workshop with Rozi, Ren came home for the hols , Patches n Spunky the 2nd gave birth to 6 kittens each, so that makes 12 newborn kittens.

so adieu 2008, and helloooooooooooooooo 2009 ...

hopefully i make better choices in 2009 compared to 2008 however, 2009 will of course be a whole lot better than 2008 because the future does not exist, everything you make of it is NOW!

hello from Bangkok Thailand. im here for my cv4 course for the weekend. and staying at this lovely suite hotel called labua and i need not say more about this hotel except that it is gorgeous. hands down two thumbs up good family fun.

my flight was alright. especially since i had my sudoku with me. and had a friend who was on flight as well. so i had tons of snackies and all the coke i can stomach in a two hour flight. and from my lovely seat at the end of the wing tip, i could see as we took off from the ground that brunei is beautiful from that view and jerudong is very crowded, so i wont plan on building a house there.

in an airport limo. luxurious and secure as well. so got to the hotel. checked in. did i mention that i literally was in awe with the hotel? i think i drooled. you'd just have to wait till i scan the pics of my trip anyhoo... landed at thai airport, got through immigration, oh yeah and get this, this is like the first trip ever to bangkok. nope m so not kidding. and the airport is beautiful. so got through immigration, and had to wait soooooo long for my luggage..got airport taxi 1600baht and turned out we could have gotten a taxi cheaper, but seriously who could pass on a ride out into bangkokhahaha. had to buy me a disposable camera as somebody lost the digicam. im hinting here hun. so the hotel is a bit pricey ya. but then i'm sharing with Joanne so we're splitting cost.

Jalan2 around the streets, not much going on. just like the same old shops. had dinner at McD. and started classes.opening night of cv4. after class , me, Shanti, Joanne and Helen went to eat at this seafood restaurant just a walking distance from suum lum night bazaar. a must go if you are a shopaholic. i didn't buy anything. typical tourist shit that don't last long. i wanna get the unique stuff. and then it was off to bed. 40baht to get there, and 55baht by taxi back to the hotel by meter. 100baht if you don't tell the taxi driver to use meter. really minta stranggle lah taxi around here. tuk tuk cheap tapi panas and the streets are really polluted.

so night all. that is as much as i can muster for day 1 in Bangkok, Thailand

Wow. what a movie. went with mac and godsgift. a big go to for all of those disney, fantasy, lovey-dovey suckers like me. and drag your boyfriends along too, in which they will give you 'the dirty look'. i know mine did. he also gave me 'the smirk'. which also comes along with the 'life is not all about lovey dovey stuff' lecture. hmmph.

anyhoo, other disney cartoons you can find in enchanted.

sleeping beauty - the house in the forest, the evil queen turning into a dragon.
the little mermaid - the statue of her one true love
snow white - singing with animals, cleaning the house, grumpy, the poison apple and the kiss from the one true love, oh yeah and the old ugly hag and her henchman.
cinderella - she left her shoe at the ball, and of course there was the ball as well. the hotel named the grand duke
lady and the tramp - the restaurant named bella notte
mary poppins - the bird lady, the banks - the divorcing couple

pretty much thats all that i got. n soooo not going to give a story telling about it. hahaha. i love that movie and was holding hands with bunnyboo all the way. yeaaaa. i love my bunnyboo for being a good sport to watch the movie with me.

great. my shift key doesn't work. again. so have to resort to a lot of erksssssssss. so lets see what has been happening since god knows when.

jigsaw playschool and primary school joint concert on the 28th november. it was hilarious, fun and nerve wrecking at the same time. and we have had great reviews from parents as well as those who atended. as usual jigsaw playschool rocks. you can see pics in godsgift, nikonian and mac's blog. they did an awesome job at taking the kids pics. kick butt.
cafe au lait has new breakfast and hi tea promo. you gotta try it out to find out whats its like.
jungle gym graduation party. it was today. mengalih. siuk running around in the jungle gym.
kg2 graduation ceremony on sunday morning.

oooooooo bunnyboo sent me pics of dato siti nurhaliza'a shoes. and here are a few of my faves. and i especially love the last one. the one with the big flower boom boom is the big bomb. i soooo want.

GG took this picture of us while we were belting it out at the cafe one night. unfortunately a few days after that dean - who's a really funny guy to begin with, got fired. it was not my fault nor my decision. so the four of us remains, those in the picture of course.

so now update on au lait news, we have a few new waitresses and a new waiter, thanks to a lot of hiring and firing a lot of people. funny story - the shortest employment in au lait history, a waiter that only lasted an hour and disappeared after that. maybe coz i'm too hard on the staff. oh well, you gotta filter out those who actually have the quality and heart to work in customer service. though the staff do say i'm a very challenging person to work with. hehehe.

and no sewing news, as for now. i've been very busy juggling 2 jobs. hahaha, to see me and stuff, you can go to jigsaw playschool or au lait cafe.

Ok here's my report fot the day, left the house like at 8am with DD, FF n ZZ. Got to school in time to see everyone waiting by the door, hahaha. The morning was spent by preparing the games and decorating, needless to say me and Alya took up one spot, with 2 tents, a leaky pool and two tables. We ended up detouring people from the sloshy area. Good thing mom came in time to send the canvas, otherwise my tent would have been a wet mess.

The place was jam packed with kids and parents on the sunday, even when it rained, there were still some kids playing the games. easy games to win simple prizes, but its the challenge of the game that is important. I had fun with my treasure hunt, kids just scramble to get the gold coins. hahaha.

And we had great CV peeps who came and gave us a lending hand. Love you.

Two weekends worth of postings and pictures. Hahaha we had fun times. And met a lot of wonderful people. The top of the list would have to be the GHK charity thing, i just had to have my face painted. Seriously people how can you not go and get your face painted when there is a face painting booth????? (fear of judgement?)

Sekalinya kan after that we went to the kite flying demo at Tungku Beach. I had enourmous fun, check out the kite i had. A lot of peeps were there, Lim Han was there as a interaction p.r., bumped into my student, Ruth and her family, had a good talk with her mum. Vena, i thought she would have left for aussie already. Tomoko was there of course since she's with the Japanese Embassy. Nikonian, CPS, AirBiscuit, Kulimpapat was there too, among the many photogs and pro-photos. My cousins were there too so spent quite a good amount of time with them.

So second weekend came and went. Took pics of the softball field. Too bad they didnt have tiny softball toy models. Met EatsNad and MShooter.

Saturday night found us in town. we left the house like 8ish and we were on the bike so, woohoo. When we saw the traffic jam which started at the immigration by the time we go there, i was so damn glad we were on the bike. So zoomed in and out of traffic and parked by RBA Plaza. GG took tons of pics. This made me laugh, oh the irony of it all. Quit smoking people, the signs are all there, it's up to you to be more aware.

So many people in town that night. My regular customers at Au Lait, Wan and Mala was there taking pictures and spending some quality time together. Rano and C was there as we were going to leave. Sufridean when we got there with a canon. So hahahaha a lot of people we know are turning to photography.

Saturday Fun

The beginning of the weekend. And as usual it's a full day. There was a looooong traffic jam starting the overhead bridge to batu bersurat all the way to the 3way roundiebout. Turned out that the police cordoned off the tunnel. No idea why. That caused a major back up of car about 2km long by the time I got there at 7am. Ended up being late for work. Today, I took R1 and R6 to school. Much to the excitement of the kids. They totally loved touching the turtles. And a great way to learn about an animal is to see it in action and touch it. Almost every kid dragged their mum or dad or both to come in and see. Well the common questions i was asked;

1. Whose turtles? Ans: Mine.
2. They're big. You bought them? Ans: Yup, they were as big as a 50cents coin when I first had them, they're now 3 and 2 years old.
3. What are their names? Ans: R1 and R6.
4. What happened to R2,R3,R4 and R5? Ans: Died.
5. How did that happen? Ans: R1 is very mean.

Picked up GG after school and we went off to our dentist appoinment for scaling. So while Jacqs was cleaning GG's teeth, we had a sharing regarding the miscommunication and displeasures of her wedding plans and itenerary. Much to GG's dismay every time Jacqs looked up to talk to me. hehehe sorry buns. Fets appointment was right after mine and she came with auntie teo.

We ended up going round home to pick up clothes and send laundry. GG took pictures at the house and my fave pics of all are these three.

We went to Kiulap to pick up GG's memory card, bought easy way, finally reached ICC for the Majlis Ilmu and only managed to go through one room where Lim Han was there and there were these two girls with cameras as well..hmmm...she shoots?..possibly hahaha. Well it was the room with all the spooky mumbo jumbo stuff. And we thought the hantu jenglot is big, it's so damn tiny. Well that's what you get for making assumptions.

Slept for a few hours, and then off to bungsu's place in Kota Batu for her farewell party as she's off to Boston. Had great laughs and introduced Boy to some of the family members. Yuli, LongLong's girlfriend was there too with LongLong of course. We took lots of pictures today, had great fun and a great day.

101 Days

101 days it has been since my last cigarette. And yes i still do crave for the nicotine, but that's all it is. A craving. A feeling that somehow i choose not to give into. So another day goes by and i am smoke free. When i was thinking about what to blog about, i suddenly remembered that hey, i wanna blog about my 100th day mark, didn't happen yesterday as GoD's GiFT! was blogging and i had a very early night. Considering we were out after the storm and didn't get home until around 2am. I must say that for a beginner i took some pretty good shots. Blurry, yellowy but still good. Yea me!

We even ended up going out to take pictures after the storm. Dragged Nunong and Rudy along too. Boy were they quiet in the car. So there we were driving, stopping every now and then to take pictures of fallen trees, torn banners, broken hinges, broken scafolding.. took pictures of the sunlit guys cleaning up the mess on the triple roundiebout...it was very exciting. There wasn't a lot of cars in the area at the time we were there, so i pretty much allow myself to park on the sides of the roundiebout, with my emergency lights on of course, though nobody stopped to ask if i needed assistance hahahaha.
